Is CarCheckHQ legit?+
CarCheckHQ is a trading name of DESKLINK LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17076467. DESKLINK LTD is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration number ZC103184. Single reports and packs are a one-off payment. No subscription needed for one-off reports. If you're a consumer and haven't used any of your order, you can cancel within 14 days of buying for a full refund. For any question, email support@carcheckhq.com.
Is CarCheckHQ an HPI Check?+
CarCheckHQ is an independent vehicle-history service. HPI Check is a separate branded product. Compare the actual records, exclusions and price of any service you choose.
Can I check car history for free?+
The government provides free vehicle-information and MOT-history services. CarCheckHQ offers a free sample report; a report for your own vehicle is paid. See our coverage page for the differences.
What do I need to check a car?+
Enter the registration and mileage. The report shows the make, model and the records our sources return.
Will every report have photographs?+
Reports do not currently include auction photographs because no licensed auction supplier is connected. Photographs appear only when a licensed source supplies a matching auction record and permits display. No photographs does not mean the vehicle has never been damaged.
Does a check guarantee the car has no problems?+
No. Records depend on source coverage and reporting dates. Always inspect the vehicle, verify its VIN and documents, and consider an independent inspection.
How long can I use my credits?+
One-off credits last six calendar months. Credits on the optional business plan (a 30-day subscription you can cancel) last for their 30-day billing period. Reports can be accessed for 30 days after generation.
Can I download or share a report?+
Yes. Download a PDF during the access period or create an expiring link. Photograph sharing depends on the source’s licence.
